Honestly, these were an after thought to the two and three-tiered stands. As I was browsing for plates I saw a platter that I thought would be cute for my home entertaining, but then later came across a decorative bowl that matched it. Looking at the two pieces it occurred to me that I could combine them similarly to how I attach the display stands. I decided to try and create a few of these and people really seem to like them.
